
At the Grand Imperial Palace, Hue's equivalent of Beijing's Forbidden City, royal banquets will be held during the city's festival. Some 800 visitors will attend each banquet during which royal music and dance groups will perform ceremonial music and Hue songs.
All this occurs in the square of Can Chanh Palace for three nights, June 3, 6, and 9. Also, a documentary film about the ancient Royal Court of Hue will be shown.
At the Truong Sanh Residence, which is being restored, also in the Grand Imperial Palace, a wide variety of traditional foods, sweets and light meals of Hue will be served during the Royal Court nights and at other times.
At the An Dinh Residence, food will be served at the art shows and exhibitions.
Huong Giang Hotel is in charge of organizing the royal banquets in the Can Chanh square; Saigon - Morin Hotel is in charge of serving food at the Truong Sanh Residence, and Century Hotel is taking care of the food to be served at the An Dinh Palace.
