Vietnam beckons to beauty contests
Central Khanh Hoa Province, where 80 beauties from around the world are competing for the Miss Universal 2008, will host the Miss World 2010 contest.
Chairwoman of the Miss World Organisation Julia Morlay met with the leaders of the province on June 30 to discuss preparations for the event.
Mrs Morlay said the Nha Trang is an ideal location for any beauty pageant.
Another coastal province of Vietnam, southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, will also host the Mrs World 2009 contest.
At this year’s Mrs. World event in Russia, Vietnamese contestant, former Miss Vietnam Nguyen Dieu Hoa, was one of the top five beauties.
